From 1992–2003, he served in the Bahrain Defense Force as Chief Commanding Officer in the Royal Navy, nurturing early strategic and operational leadership. From 2004 to 2011, he led GCC markets as Executive Director at Gulf Finance House (GFH), overseeing regional investments. At NOGA Holding (2012–2014) he directed privatization projects, including Bahrain’s service station rollout and bilateral pipeline collaboration with Saudi Aramco. Between 2014 and 2021, he functioned as Director of Corporate & Government Affairs at Bapco Refining, driving corporate transformation, modernization initiatives, stakeholder engagement, and representing Bahrain’s energy sector on regional and global executive committees, including WPC, ADIPC, IPTC and GDA. Since September 2022, he has co‑chaired the OTCD track for the British Academy of Management.
