He also holds an Advanced Diploma in Islamic Banking (BIBF, October 2005) and a Bachelor in Naval Science from King Fahad Naval Academy, KSA (July 1995). With over 30 years of leadership experience, Dr. Al‑Ghanem’s career spans military, finance, and energy sectors. From 1992–2003, he served in the Bahrain Defense Force as Chief Commanding Officer in the Royal Navy, nurturing early strategic and operational leadership. From 2004 to 2011, he led GCC markets as Executive Director at Gulf Finance House (GFH), overseeing regional investments. At NOGA Holding (2012–2014) he directed privatization projects, including Bahrain’s service station rollout and bilateral pipeline collaboration with Saudi Aramco.
