He began as a Part-Time Teacher at Government Day Secondary School, Inoziomi  and served in the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria, Abuja, during his National Youth Service , where he handled payroll preparation, reconciliations, and accounting processes. His academic teaching career commenced as a Part-Time Lecturer at the University of Abuja  and Kaduna State University .He later joined Northwest University, Kano, as a Full-Time Lecturer  before moving to Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria , where he deepened his teaching and research contributions.
