Dr. Ahmed Sayed Abdel Azeem Asmoay is an accomplished geoscientist specializing in environmental geology, hydro geochemistry, and applied mineralogy. He earned his Ph.D. in Environmental Geology from Al-Azhar University, focusing on hydrogeochemical studies of water resources and soil characteristics in the western bank of the River Nile. He also holds a Master’s degree in Applied Mineralogy and a Bachelor’s degree in Geology with honors from Al-Azhar University. Ahmed has held progressive research and academic positions at the National Research Centre in Egypt, advancing from fellowship and assistant researcher roles to his current position as Associate Professor. His research encompasses a wide range of topics including groundwater quality assessment, water-rock interaction, heavy metal contamination, soil mineralogy, petrography, and GIS-based mapping. He has contributed significantly to understanding water resource management and environmental risk assessment in arid and semi-arid regions. 📍Current Position

Bih Chuan Lin is an Assistant Professor at DaYeh University’s Department of Architecture and Interior Design, as well as at the Graduate School of Architecture. Lin also serves as a Professional Consultant for the Tzu Chi Charity Foundation and Tzu Chi Merit Association, and has specialized in architectural planning and disaster management research since 2013.
