He began at Ogui Primary School, Enugu (1970–1976), earning his FSLC with Credit, followed by a WASC First Division from National Secondary School, Ntueke (1976–1980). He obtained an HND in Business Administration & Management from the Institute of Management and Technology, Enugu (1986–1990), and a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration from ESUT (1992–1993). He later earned his MBA (1999–2000) and completed his academic pursuit with a Ph.D. in Management from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (2005–2008).
